Black History Month Feature: Diverse Talent

In honor of Black History Month, the Colorado Chamber is recognizing Black business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, and job creators who have grown their businesses from the ground up and are core to our local Colorado communities.

Today’s feature is Austin Campbell with Diverse Talent

Austin Campbell is a senior account manager and finance analyst with Diverse Talent, LLC located in Denver, Colorado. Diverse Talent is an executive search and placement firm that provides recruiting services to the workplace.

Campbell graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in energy business and finance with a minor in in entrepreneurship. During this time, he had the opportunity to participate in division one track and field for the university as a high jumper. Campbell also fly fished on different freestone and limestone rivers around the State College, Pennsylvania area in his free time.

Austin has played an integral part in creating Diverse Talent, LLC alongside of Michelle Campbell (CEO) and Greer Campbell (Marketing and Sr. Account Manager). Diverse Talent was created to connect the company’s extensive national pipeline with their committed partners. The vision at Diverse Talent is to recruit and present candidates that reflect the country’s demographic. Diverse Talent provides their partners with a nationwide pipeline of talent, a personalized vetting process, culture assessment, new process implementation, and departmental coaching.

When he is not working at Diverse Talent, Campbell continues to enjoy fly fishing and works at Trouts Fly Fishing as a fly-fishing guide, teaching individuals the nuance of fly fishing on streams throughout the state. Campbell has been a professional fly-fishing guide for the past two and a half years and also spends time teaching people who do not have the same access to the outdoors through Community Fly Fishing. In all aspect of life Austin pushes for equality and ways to provide access to those that traditionally would not receive a seat at the table.
