DENVER – Amid the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Colorado, the Colorado Chamber released the following statement from Colorado Chamber President Chuck Berry:

“We encourage businesses across Colorado to take proactive steps to prepare for the possible spread of the virus, including keeping sick employees home, practicing good workplace hygiene, and having a plan in place to handle absences. Employers should stay informed on the latest information on the virus from Colorado’s state health department and the U.S. Center for Disease Control.”

The Colorado Chamber has compiled guidance for employers on its website at www.cochamber.com/coronavirus.
