CACI is working hard this summer and fall to create a
pro-business legislature next year with the endorsement and
financial support of pro-business legislative candidates, both
incumbents and new, who will listen to employers’ concerns.
CB-PAC Update
In addition to the 33 companies--and one individual--listed in
the last two issues of Capitol Report that have given to
the Colorado Business Political Action Committee (CB-PAC), the
following have also recently contributed:
·
Genentech, Inc.
·
The Howes Group
CACI thanks the contributors to CB-PAC for their support, which
is critical to CACI’s financial support of pro-business
legislative candidates whom it will endorse this summer for
election in November.
CACI Members Urged to Contribute $50 to CACI’s Small-Donor
Committee
Under Colorado’s campaign finance laws, an individual can
contribute $50 per calendar year to a small-donor committee.
CACI’s small-donor committee contribution can be an important
factor in the financial support of pro-business legislative
candidates in key, competitive races. During the 2008 election
campaign, the CACI Prosperity Fund supported six legislative
candidates in tightly contested races.
Any individual can contribute to CACI’s small-donor committee.
Please mail personal checks for $50 made out to The Colorado
Prosperity Fund to the CACI Office to the attention of Dan
Pilcher.
2010 Legislative Session Report Features CACI Members’ Impact at
the State Capitol

the session, CACI has just published a report highlighting the
impact made by CACI members on key legislation. Please watch
for this in your mail view it at on the CACI Web site:

You may download the file, print it out and e-mail it to
others. The active involvement and support of CACI members
through the CACI policy councils and through communications to
legislators, as well as testimony before committees, is critical
to CACI’s lobbying successes. We thank you for your dedication
to CACI and your support of our mission.

serves as the Chief Executive Officer. HealthTrans is a
health-care services administrator that provides tools and
services for employers and health plans to more efficiently
manage pharmacy and medical benefits programs. HealthTrans also

Kevin Reddy, Noodles & Company (Hospitality Category)

Kevin is CEO and Chairman of the Board for Noodles & Company, a
classic causal restaurant success story. Since joining Noodles
and Company in 2005, Kevin has helped propel the
Broomfield-based, fast-causal chain to one of nation’s
fastest-growing restaurant concepts. Kevin’s “play to win”
philosophy is firmly entrenched in the Noodles & Company
corporate culture. Since he believes success is achievable
regardless of the economic climate, it should be no surprise
that Noodles and Company was one of the very few retail or
restaurant chains to experience positive same-store sales growth
in 2009. For more on Noodles and Company, click on:
