Below are the results on the key races across the State:

Congressional Districts:

U.S. House District 2:

Joe Neguse, the former Executive Director of the Department of Regulatory Agencies, easily won the Democratic primary in the 2nd Congressional District (Boulder).  Due to the political makeup of the district, Joe Neguse will replace Jared Polis as the next congressman in the 2nd Congressional District.

U.S. House District 5:

Congressman Doug Lamborn easily defeated 4 challengers by 52.5%, including Sen. Owen Hill, current State Senator, in the Republican primary for the 5th congressional district seat (Colorado Springs).  Due to the political makeup of the district, Congressman Lamborn will return to Congress after the general election.

Governor:

As expected, State Treasurer Walker Stapleton won the Republican gubernatorial primary by 47.8% against three other candidates including Greg Lopez, Victor Mitchell and Doug Robinson.  Congressman Jared Polis (Boulder) won the Democratic gubernatorial primary by 44.6%.  He beat three (3) other candidates, including Donna Lynne, the current Lieutenant Governor, Cary Kennedy and Mike Johnston.
